Girl Dates Boy ls it proper tor a girl to ask the love of her life tor a date? The answer is yes-If she has sutticient funds-It she has a means cf transportation, and- It it happens to be WPA week. During this week girls pay for all dates, carry boys' books, open doors for them, and always let the boy win any arguments. But, when things get back to normal, the girls are still carrying their own books, opening their own doors, and losing all their arguments. WPA OR NOT-Bonnie Lee and Charley Dotzenrod are a steady twosome. OPENING CAR DOORS is one of the duties of an escort, finds Jan Fennell, as she brings Ken DeFor home from their date. CARRYING JOHN LOCKE'S BOOKS isn't so bad, says Kay Quam, as long as he's carving our romance for posterity. DOUBLE DATING are Mary Ode- gaard and Kay Jordan. Their dates, Jerry Peterson and Jim Warn, aren't content with just having their way paid to the show, they want popcorn also.

Prom Is Gala Affair What memories Prom brings back-over-worked mothers, boys uncomfortably crawling into their freshly pressed suits, dinner at the Belle, and the Prom itself! That night the Terp Ballroom was trans- formed into a moving rainbow by the lovely maze of varied formals. As the endless lines went through the formation of the Grand March, the soft svvish of feet could be heard above the music. After the last dance was played and the soft swish of feet had died away, after the parties and the early breakfasts, the wee hours of the morning found heavy eyes but light hearts.
