Miss Hazel Murray has been in Austin instructing the Teacher Training Department since 1927. She has her bachelor's degree from Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell and her masters degree from the University of Minnesota. She has also attended Columbia University. Miss Murray's main interest leans toward speech work. She minored in speech while majoring in Latin and educational ad- ministration. She is a member of Pi Kappa Delta and Delta Kappa Gamma. The latter is an organization for women in education.
