Cur journey of Memories 0 As freshmen, we who are now members of the Class of l94O, were just beginning a four year journey in search of learning and guid- ance. A year later we had been promoted into the senior high school and were well accus- tomed to the journey. However, as juniors, with Miss Lura Lynn Straub, Miss Henriette Liboz, and Mr. Ray Wescott, as our advisers, We found thrills awaitf ing us as we produced our extraordinary, suc- cessful class play and entertained the seniors at our prom. This year the production of The Youngest culminates our work for Austin High School and brings us near Commencement. We are proud to be the first to be graduated from the new auditorium. Vvlith this we shall have come to the end of a journey which has been made pleasant by a faculty and administration who have been con- siderate and helpful at all times. To them we say, l'Thank you. -Jean Guy
