Youth's journey through high school provides a series of experiences, and happy associations each one of which either adds to his stature or takes away. The public school of the United States is a great institution and proving ground for youth: it lies within the power of each in- dividual to make it truly meaningful to himself. L. J. GUSTAF-SON Principal
