I With a new eight hundred thousand dollar ad- dition to our million dollar high school building, our public school system may be characterized by the words, growth and progress A new junior college and athletic field stadium are also the physical expression of the progress made by our school for the youth of the community. One thousand six hundred eighty students represent the enrollment in the junior-senior high school. Eflicient faculty members guide this student body on their journey. Youth is benefiting by this evident growth and progress. The Staff of the Austinian believes that Youth and all his activities in high school this year are of interest to you. A spirit of friendliness pervades Austin High School. .lust as business and social life offers opportunities for meeting and working with people. so there are unlimited opportunities in classes, clubs, and in the gymnasium for pleasant contacts of youth in his journey through high school. Youth will long remember the friendly relation- ships he has had with administrators, faculty, and his classmates.
