Fogarty, Austin's Director of Guidance and Counseling, will cheer- fully aid any student in these matters of their education. If l z Each Austin student is required to read at least one book each month of the school year. Selected reading lists have been prepared for each section of the Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior classes by members of the English Department under Mr. Bailey, English Department Head. Standardized tests about the books are administered to the students. Many of the books are available in mexpensive, paperback editions which can be obtained from the portable bookstand opened during each lunch period in the echool corridor.
