Row 2 - Ron Foumier, Rick McKnight, Mike Cockburn, Bob Decker, Ray Woiitalik, John Brecht, Coach Boisture, Gary Mettie, Dick DeLamieIIeure, Ron Kathrein, Howie Crane. l The Austin baseball squad rolled through a suc- cessful season, capturing the Central Division title. Defeating St. Laclislaus, the Friars moved into Briggs Stadium for the showdown title game with Wyan- dotte St. Patrick. The Austin sluggers hit the ball hard but it didn't fall safely, and the Friars were edged. This year with a veteran squad and pitching staff returning, Friar prospects look brighter.
