,ffl V-lv-an-M-! i An Edifice Arises to give Honor and Glory to God For many years the residents of the East Side sorely felt the need for a Catholic High School, one that would meet the needs of Parochial Education for the young men who were leaving the Catholic Grade Schools of the area. God, in His Goodness, gave unto the Directors of His Church, the needed foresight and courage to carry out the many sacrifices to make this possible. An appeal went out to the Augustinian Fathers to proceed with their mission in life, and to take the grave respon- sibility of answering the needs of Catholic parents living on the East Side.
