Both our boys and girls teams made real progress. Our boys were greatly improved and finished 4th at the Sectional Meet. Seniors Matt Pomerville and Scott Adamson ran well all season and Derek Martisus. an eighth grader and Matt Pomerville. senior both quali- fied for States. Our Girls had an exceptional season winning both the CVAC and Sectional Championships over a strong St. John's team. All 12 girls showed real guts and team effort. We're proud of each of them. The girls team went on to finish 6th at the State Meet in Long Island. What a great effort from a team that has been in existence for only two years. Individually Tammy Rule was the 1 girl runner in the CVAC. There is always room for people who want to be part of something special on our team. Why not try Cross Country? Everyone had strong performances throughout the season. In sectionals, strong doubles showings came from Chris Ward Bob Adamson, Jeff Connor Steve Sucharski, and Kris- ten Redman Timm Strotmann. Luis Carrion led the singles as he was top seed for AuSable. Kara Kitchen was the only female from this section to compete in the singles competition. Missing from group photo is Steve Sucharski.
