'DS'DjeAZJON The PATRIOT 1986 yearbook is dedicated to our principal, Mr. Daniel Joseph Meegan. Mr. Meegan received his education at Burlington High School, and the University of Vermont. He has a BS and a MS in education. He did his graduate work at Plattsburgh State University, Siena College, and the University of Syracuse. Mr. Meegan was in the Navy for four years and was a soldier in W.W.II. From 1950-53 he was a Social Studies teacher at Hinesburg High School in Hinesburg, Vt. From 1953- until now he has worked at Keeseville High School and A.V.C.S. as a Social Studies teacher, Guidance Counselor, and our present principal. We wish Mr. Meagan the best of luck and many continueing years of success. On our homecoming court were the following: Freshmen-K. Bourdeau, H. Redman, J. Brown, W. O’Toole, Sophomore-M. Healey, M. AuSable Valley Homecoming week is the time of the year when the student body unites to show their true Patriot spirit.
