F.B.L.A. This year AuSabie Valley's Future Business Leaders of America have reached one of their highest goals yet. This year they have a member who has attained the position of Vice President of District 5! This includes Warren, Franklin, Clin- ton. Essex. Hamilton, and Washington County. The Chapter sent a group of students to Cobb- leskill College in October to compete in contests and came back with a second place in typing. They will also be competing in district level con- tests in March and sending members to the State Leadership Conference at the Concord in April. Also in April, we will enter competition at NCCC. With a representative on the district level and their good showings in competitions, the AuSa- bie Valley FBLA is starting to gain some of the recognition they have hoped to bring to the Au- Sabie Valley name! STUDENT COUNCIL The Student Council is represented by two students from each homeroom, in grades 9-12. The representatives were then nominated for the offices and the whole student council then voted. It resulted in the election of the officers. Student Council has been very instru- mental in expressing the student’s opinions and helping to solve those problems. We would also like to thank them for supporting many of our activi- ties such as the pep rallies, and home- coming. Row 1: D. LaBounty. A. Tromblee. V. Eagleson. T. Kennedy. Row 2: R. LaPier, N.
