I’ll remember forever your laugh And all the funny things you used to do. I’ll remember the times you were there And never let me down as your friend. I’ll remember, the bad times, too, But we didn’t have many of those. I’ll remember the person you made yourself to be So you didn’t have to be like everybody else. I’ll remember forever your little grin And how your eyes would always gleam. All these things, I’ll remember of you Because you were a special friend- I’H love you forever, Richard: By: Lisa Bourdeau ddVIS NOllVHJLSINIIAiaV CENTRAL OFFICE Mr. James H. Thank you to Wayne Lacey who designed the artwork featured on the cover and to the teachers who helped us to identify those students we just couldn’t seem to remember. We would also like to thank those on our staff, Kim Loya, Linda Murcray, Hope Po- quette, Amy Tromblee, Ed Winslow, Dina and Lisa Casey who contributed the extra hours needed to meet our deadlines. Mrs. Darling and Mr. Mitchell, we would like to thank you for the time and effort you put into the yearbook. A big thanks goes to all the businesses, patrons and boosters who helped us with their financial contri- butions. Without these people there would be no yearbook. Row 1: A. Tromblee, K. Loya. HONOR SOCIETY Our Honor Society this year has visited the Willsboro High School to see how another school runs. They found that the students were very friendly and en- joyed their visit very much. Honor Soci- ety hopes to visit other schools in the future. They have also undertaken the morning announcements which was of great help to the office staff. Now if the coaches would write clearer we would be all set. Candy sales have continued this year to finance future projects. Row 1: A. O'Hailoren. Mrs. Houde. Mrs. Pre- vo(advisors). J. Frenia. This year AuSabie Valley's Future Business Leaders of America have reached one of their highest goals yet. This year they have a member who has attained the position of Vice President of District 5! This includes Warren, Franklin, Clin- ton. Essex. Hamilton, and Washington County. The Chapter sent a group of students to Cobb- leskill College in October to compete in contests and came back with a second place in typing. They will also be competing in district level con- tests in March and sending members to the State Leadership Conference at the Concord in April. Also in April, we will enter competition at NCCC. With a representative on the district level and their good showings in competitions, the AuSa- bie Valley FBLA is starting to gain some of the recognition they have hoped to bring to the Au- Sabie Valley name! I also leave you Mr. Randall, if you take any of his classes ask him about your “little’’ sister. -Vickie Lynn Ryan 43 HANS DAGBERG My name is Hans Dagberg and I am the Swedish ex- change student for 83-84. I come from Marsta, a sub- urb of Stockholm. I participated in football, bowling, track, and also in the ski club. Advanced wood was my favorite class in school. I really like it here and all the friends I have made in school during this year. Sailing, wind-surfing, and skiing are my favorite hobbies. When I return to Sweden I wish to attend an industrial arts college. I will also have to do a year in the armed service. Later on, I would like to come back and visit the U. S. again. GONZALO RECIO My name is Gonzalo Recio and I am 17 years old. I come from Madrid, the capital of Spain. When i arrived, there was much confusion. The school was quite small- er than the one I went to in Spain and the language spoken was one I knew nothing of. During my stay here, I wish to learn the English language, play on the soccer and tennis teams and meet some new people. So far, I have enjoyed it here, the students and teachers here are very helpful. I think it will be a good year. No prob- lem !! When I return to my home in Spain I will bring many happy memories with me. 46 Court: Theron Snow. Lori Shay. Matt Snow. Vickie Ryan. The team score was the 3rd best in the CVAC Sectional, with outstanding performances by J. Kahn. L. Shay. R. Mitchell and E. Kahn, who was selected for the CVAC All-Star team. The team, coached by Mrs. C. Morrison, was assisted this year by Mrs. E. Gordon. Over twenty girls continued to practice all season to gain in their skills on vault, balance beam, uneven bars and floor exercises. Special help sessions this summer taught by Mr. Gibb Brown gave the team the initial momentum to accelerate them to their present CVAC standing. Asst. Coach E. Gordon Row 1: S. Joy. P. Theroux. R.
