Mrs. L. McGuire, Mrs. B. Boulrice, Mr. M. Bush, Mrs. J. Prevo, Mr. D. McCormick MATH DEPT. The emphasis in our math department this year is still on computers. The BA- SIC programming course is a popular if difficult class and the addition of a new Super Pet computer to our computer room brought with it a new class: Pas- cal Programming. Mr. G. Latourelle INSTRUCTIONAL MEDIA CENTER Mrs. Jean Hough, Mrs. Jane Kelley Mrs. Kelley and Mrs. Hough, our librarians and aides, re- spectively, are helping the many students from the sixth and seventh grades who are unfamiliar with the I.M.C. facili- ties. We also learned that in correspondence with the inter- est in computers, our library now subscribes to several unique computing journals. SCIENCE DEPT. There is now a new course being taught in the A.V.C.S. Science department. In addi- tion to their normal science course, some eighth grade students are now taking the Introduction to Biology class being taught by Mr. Hammond.
