Mr. W. Johnson, Mrs. M. Houde, Mrs. M. Prentiss, Mr. J. Meier Mrs. S. Latourelle, Mr. G. Hammond, Mr. R. Archambault, Mrs. L. Baker, Mr. R. Robare ENGLISH DEPT. The dynamic eclecticism with in the English Department precludes a definitive extensile statement of their prioritizations. However, curriculum development demonstrates a Grammer-wise orientation in grades 7-9, with a branch-out toward Humanism in grades 10-12. This is intended as an obfuscation of the issue but is meant to clarify it in a style representative of the diverse mentalities within the department. SCIENCE DEPT The ever faithful experimentalists of A.V.C.S.—our science staff. Brave Mrs. Baker and Mr. Shambo, in charge of Biology classes and other General Sci- ence Courses. Mr. Robare has even in- curred greater danger by teaching a new course— Introduction to Physical Sci- ence. Mrs. Latourelle teaches seventh grade science with emphasis on Biology while Mr. Archambault approaches his eighth graders withthe Physical Sci- ences. 7
