ff..- VA A , Q01 E c ova 1 N CIA, FOOTBALL HOMECCMING This year, Horace, the homecoming festivities started with a colorful parade which wasa tremendous success. Classes and private organizations entered floats. After the parade we all stomped to theauditorium to see who the king and queen would be. The suspense was broken when David Grivette and Vyna Kurnpula were crowned. The attendants were football players and the girls selected by the student body. After a rip-roaring pep fest on Thursday night the Blackhawks rolled over the Tower Eagles. The dance cli- maxed the festivities which were all very successful. On the next page, Horace, we'll see who the basketball king and queen are.

Q-.J K V 'Tl i Queen Pat Olsen, King George Polus s Q s . Our 1957 Basketball Homecoming was the best yet, Horace. Karen Wagner, M. C., introduced the 1956 King, f Edward Berdice. Since the 1956 Queen, Judy Erikson, 1 1 was unable to attend, her young sister Jodie carried the iz crown and a message from Judy. Stan Plevell, a star of last year's team, came forward and crowned the new 1957 Queen,Pat Olsen. Dick Thomp- son, another star of last year, came forward and took the scroll which Billy Thompson carried through the auditor- ium. Dick, then, crowned our new king, George Polus. Homecoming was climaxed with a dance following wi f the game.
