The function of the orchestra is three-fold, Horace--namely-to sup- ply music for various school affairs, to become acquainted with or- chestra literature and to give pupils experience in group playing. The orchestra is used for class plays, style shows and special pro- grams such asare given at Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, Graduation, Columbus Day, Education Week, and at other events such as teas and receptions. The orchestra members are called upon to supply music for outside events, dinners, weddings, and concerts or programs other than school events. Adjoining communities call for the services of the Aurora orchestra for similar events. Hey! wake up Old Buddy . On the next page are our fellow col- leagues the chorus.
