SCHOOL BOARD Many new burdens were added to the work of our school board. Due to the rapidly increasing number of students, plans had to be drawn up for new educational facilities. It was necessary to add many new teachers to the staffg also, as Aurora's population grew, more new physical plants were planned and incorporated into the system. It was the men on the school board who had to keep Aurora up to the required standards while meeting the ever-increasing needs.
