Amid pops and cracks we strived to be- come the chemists of tomorrow. Experience soon taught us the difference between diluted and con- centrated acids. We entered this course hesitantly, and soon, under the instruction of Mr. Harold Rice, we became confident. Symbols, formulas, equations -these words were a part of our vocabulary. Though we won't be working at Cape Canaveral, we consider the fun and work spent here invaluable. fill

Other than slide rule computation, the Trig pupils learned the differences in sine, cosine, and tangent and then put this knowledge to work. With full steam ahead government became a part of our lives. Taught by Mr. A1 Porter, our classes contained vital activities which will be a part of our lives as citizens. Speakers from different vocational fields, class discussions, films, tax reports--these kept us busy. From a trip to a city council meeting, we obtained a concept of local govern- ment in action. Students enjoyed receiving brochures from various countries and, as a result, maintained a foreigh in- formation file. All this will enable us to be better citizens and future voters. N215 5 ff X
