While the attaining of a diploma means the completion of our high school course, it also means the parting of the ways for most graduates. These halls of Augusf tinian Academy do not merely contain memories of scholastic achievements but also memories of our common friendship. We take pleasure in recollecting the teachers and classmates who have enjoyed with us the passing of one of the most pleasant milestones on our life's journey. In order to preserve our memories of these eventful years, the annual staff has attempted to compose a worthy memento of our former teachers, class' mates, and activities at the Academy. The exiled Aeneas once proclaimed to his Trojan followers when they were wandering on foreign shores, forsan et haec olim meminisse juvahitn. The staff hopes in a similar manner that, nperhaps in some future time we shall he glad to remember these things . 21
