i- dh 'T h Celebrate Me Home Observed Angie's Homecoming involved many events centered around the theme Celebrate Me Home. The activities were welI-organized by a great deal of work from the co- chairmen Jeri Havlik and Cleve Charles. The festivities began with the Talent Show on Wednesday and yell, rope-pull and bonfire Thursday. The BOS proved their brains and brawn by winning both the yell and rope-pull for the men. In women's competition the KE's won the yell and APO took the rope-pull. The crowning of the Vi-King Kent Johnson and the Vi- Queen Mary Meisch took place Friday night. The royal court included Junior Prince and Princess Mike Cerone and Cyn- thia Antonik, and Sophomore attendants Melanie Johnson and Michael O'Rourke. Following the coronation, the KE's and the POP's won the sing contest. Saturday's activities incorporated the Homecoming Pa- rade, where the Freshmen won the float competition, and the football game where Augie was defeated by Elmhurst 28- 6. The evening activities were climaxed by a dance held at Jet! Pope's Version afaCathoIic leader includes bluejeansand the Omni in Davenport. Sunglasses. The Phi Omega Phi fraternity offer the POP rendition of Won't You Please Come Home Bill Bailey. Karen Newman and Laurie Wood harmonize at the talent show. 26 Homecoming
