In Talent Shows The freshmen orientation week came 10 an exciting climax with the production of the Freshmen Talent Show. Emcee; Nate LaFrenz and Tacy Lackore introduced the acts with their opening number, Comedy Tonight. A skit portraying the problems of freshmen life, a juggling act, and an impersonation of Rosanna Rosanna Danna added humor to the show. The night, however, held much more than comedy. It was evident that the freshmen class has its share of talented musicians as well as gifted singers. Dancing, represented by both ballet and disco, was also a strong point in the entertainment, The whole talent show combined hard work and fun to yield a very special show. Holiy MacDonald displays poise during her performance of Rodeo, Julie Kunrzie and Lori Soelle harmonize together on The Out- Cnnceniralion is the key '0 N'dY Rath's Raglime SElECtiun- law. Versatility Merges Towards the end of orientation week, all the peer advisers and orientation co-ordinators combined their efforts to present the Leaders' Talent Show. Emcees for the night were Mary Scoliay and Scot Anderson; they introduced a variety of talented performers, including vocalists and instrumentalists. The comedy acts were especially entertaining, reflecting much hard Work and I . . . . effort.
