Parties, Parades h Homecoming activities started on Wednesday with the 805's and the KE's winning the Yell Contest, and the PUG's and KE's triumphing in the Rope Pull. The traditional Bon- fire by the slough followed after- wards. The talent show, held in Centennial Hall on Thursday even- ing, featured Hot Lunch and mime Tim Settimi. Mr. Settimi also gave an excellent performance at the Homecoming Convocation. The traditional BOS parade made its way across campus at high noon on Friday. That evening the doors were locked in Centennial Hall at 7:30 sharp. The audience inside, made up of both old and new Augie folk, witnessed the coronation of Vi-Queen Dawn Ahlman and Vi- King Dave Behm. In the Sing Con- test afterwards,the PHI RHO's and the DON'S each placed first. When was the last time Seventh Ave- nue saw the likes of this?
