A . When Dr. Gustav Andreen retired in 1935, Dr. Conrad Bergendoff became the new presi- dent of Augustana. He had been teaching at Augustana since 1931 and was Dean of the Seminary from 1933 until 1935. Dr. Bergendoff continues to ably lead the Augustana of today after 25 years as president.
