SOUND SCIENCE PROGRAM c. X PRODUCES WINNERS . AMA was not caught napping during the recent science revolution. Every cadet is required to take two years of science, and four courses are offered. Geology, biology, chemistry and physics each play an important role in the development of the cadets' scientific attitudes. Frequently, speakers from indus- try visit the school to lecture on ad- vantages in studying science, and opportunities in the field. Science winners each year in state contests have maintained keen in- terest in keeping abreast of the latest developments in each field. MAJOR SAVEDGE instills curiosity in Bob Batten- house during qualitative analysis. Atomic energy, featured at AMA for many years, is one ot the high paints in chemistry.
