1946 HAROLD B. LEVER Hal llal has the honor of being the littlest cadet ever to win his monogram in swimming his first year. ln his three years he has helped keep .Xugusta in its championship form. llis other athletic efforts included junior football and intramural wrestling and boxing in which he did a line job. As an officer he was line sergeant in Company. 'l'o him goes our best for his future life. THOMAS C MANDES 'l'ommy 'l'ommy has been a wonderful cadet in his three years at .AX.lX'l.A., spending two of them without any demerits. lle worked for two years on the humor department of the Bayo- net: he is the boy we all love for those sweet little Quadrangle Quirps. He has been on the fencing team for two years, starring in the e- pee his last year, These and many other honors go lu that smiling lfirst Sergeant of ll Com- pany. Su long, 'l'ommy, and good luck at tieorgetown. DONALD MAYER I Jon lion is synonymous for wrestling. lle start- ed winning in this sport two years ago and has not stopped since. ,Ns captain of the Augusta grapplers this past year he lifted this sport from the mere commonplace to a pinnacle of respect. ln fact this sport became so popular that it attracted more to its meets than a bas' ltetball game if both played the same after- noon. ,Ndded to his prowess in athletics are his regularity on the honor roll and his being chosen the best corporal of the guard. Metli- cine has already called him and we predict a great comfort to the weary and sick.

SENIORS JAMES L. LEA, JR. 'limmy'l jimmy has been the captain of the rifle team for two years, making a grand reputation for himself in the annals of the rifle team. He has played tennis for two years, and he has been in the Monogram Club for'two years. This year he is First Lieutenant of C Company, and he did a swell job at that. Jimmy is going to the U. S. Naval Academy next year, and we wish him the best of luck. RALPH J. LEVENSON Lev Ralph, during his two years at Augusta, has made himself known to all both scholastieally and in sports. He has been a member of the varsity track and tennis teams and received a white page his first year. Ralph has made the scholastic honor roll and is at the top of the graduating class. XVe wish him the best of luck at college. EDWARD LEVENTEN Mike!! Ikel' will leave Augusta with four successful years behind him. ln all that time as a mem- ber of the Headquarters Company he made a good name for himself, rising from private, to corporal, to first sergeant and his last year to captain. All this time he built a very fine 'KCXV' Company. During his fourth year he was electe ed vice-president of the Cotillion Club, to the Honor Committee and made a major mono- gram in football. XVith such a splendid record at AMA, we hope that he does as well at the University of Virginia.

S E N I O R S PAUL G. MOERSCHELL, JR. Paul Paul is just another name for the Bayo- net and the Recall without which we would have had neither. Likeable, handsome, acade- mically inclined, militarily imbued, he has also exhibited ability in his three years of fencing. This past year he was co-captain of this sport which incidentally enjoyed its most successful year, which can be attributed to his efforts. Socially he is about as popular as any one would want to be. l'aul plans to follow his father's footsteps and become a dentist via Georgetown. JESSE W. MOHLER, JR. K6JeSS!! jess has made a big name for himself in athletics here in his three years. I-le made All State his second year in football. He was also an excellent wrestler. jess is one of those boys that everyone likes. If jess is as successful in his future athletic contacts in college, we know that he will again be the top man of the teams, ANTONIO MONCADA lKTOny3! Tony is one of the finest boys ever to come from our Spanish-American neighbors. En- dowed with intellect and becoming attractive- ness he has made his name famous both in the academic world and social life. As ordnance sergeant he has upheld the traditions of the staff in an enviable manner. He plans to con- tinue his studies abroad and with such a past behind him he will go places.
