I 9 4 6 SAMUEL c. CUMMING JR. Sain Une ot' Major's Brains in College Algebra this year, Sam has been doing a line job at A MA. lle has been on the XX'restling Team: and he is a platoon sergeant in ll Company this year. Sam is one of the quieter boys at school, but he makes up for it with mental activity- EDWIN B. FAST, JR. liddie liddie has been here but one year, and, after an eventful start, began to show that the Venn- sylvania product is the best. Due to an ex- tended sojourn on the carbon deposits of Aug- usta, he was missed on the basketball squad, only to appear on the swimming team, where he made a name for himself and Augusta. He plans to enter college and try for the Naval Academy, and if that should fail, to study medicine. NICHOLAS G. FOTINOS Nick Nick is more interested in Augusta than in studying. He has tried every sport that Aug- usta has to offer, finally ending up on the Var- sity Swimming and Football teams. XVhat he lacks in ability is made up in effort, which usually puts him out front. Academically, he is fair, in all but languages, which he abhors Socially, he has put the fair name of Augusta all over the map. As president of the Cotillion Club, he carried the major burden of the work on his shoulders, and to an enviable record. Our social season owes its success to his ef- forts. .Xs to military, he takes the cup under every heading. ,Ns an officer, he cannot be bet- tered. Whatever he takes for his life's work just has to be another Fotinos venture. l ll ttitltta

Coming here three years ago he started out on the Peep Football team and in the same year won his major monogram in box- ing. Last year he starred on the varsity foot- ball team as he did this past year, as well as annexing another letter by remaining unde- feated 'in the fisticutfs.
