I 9 4 6 P. NORMAN BURTON Percy l'ercy has spent two years at Augusta, and during that time he has made many friends. Ile rose from a private in C Company his first year, to a sergeant in the same company this year. l'erey played Varsity Basketball and llaseball, winning a minor monogram in bas ketball. XYe wish him the best of luck at V. M . I . WILBUR T. BROWNLEY I3ill,' llill is one of those slow, easy going fellows who usually obtains what he starts out to make. XVhile not a monogram winner in sports, he has, nevertheless, made himself felt both on the l50 pound Football Team and the XYrestling Squad. Many a man he has forced to put forth that little but needed effort to get by llill. A more likeable fellow we have yet to meet. llis future is written, and well engraved. THOMAS W. COHOON Tommy Tommy arrived at Augusta three years ago, as an awkward high school boy. XVithin a short time he developed into an outstanding new cadet, and now he is one of the best, commis- sioned officers in the battalion. He was an honor student all year long, and has engaged in intramural boxing and basketball all of his three years here. lle is also a member of the llonor Committee. Tommy is one of the most popular boys in barracks, and when he leaves here he will go on to a military career at XVest fltbllll..

M' M wt W it ,lwff SENIORS RICHARD J. BARTLETT Dick lliclc came to Augusta in '45 and since he has been here, he has made a grand name for himself. He was assigned to Company Il He went out for intramural basketball, wrestl- ing, and tennis. NVe all wish them the best of luck. JAMES L. BOZARTH lb., immy!! hlimmy llozarth has been with us but this one year but in that short time he has made quite a name for himself as a perpetual Honor Roll Boy. ln addition to-his excellence in academics he has exhibited himself promin- ently on the fencing and baseball squads. His learned and witty rejoinders indicate that he will be a success in life. DAVID E. BREWER l Dave Dave has done as much for Augusta as any cadet could have done in his tive years. Begin- ning as a private in Company ll , he has ad- vanced from that lowly office to a platoon ser- geantg thence to Captain of li Coinpanyfhis fourth year, and then to First Captain this year. Adding to these honors are his being elected to the Ad Astra per Aspera, secretary of the student body, and honor committee membership. Athletically he foiled, sabred and finally epeed to win his Monogram. He was one of those rare cadets who was more inter- ested in making Augusta a better school than bringing honors upon himself. S E N I O R S WILLIAM R. COLEMAN 4rBilly3r Billy came to Augusta last year and was a private in UC Company, a member of the varsity tennis team and winner of tennis intra- murals. This year he is a sergeant in D com- pany, member of the tennis team and on the Y.M.C.A. cabinet. Billy is one of the most popular boys at A.M.A. CHARLES COLLINGE Huck Buck has been a model cadet for two years. His first year he was in B Company and received a white page. He played .IY football and was a member of the golf team- He rose from a private to a sergeant in A Company. He played on the 150-pound foot- ball team and was a member of the wrestling squad. Buck was a quiet boy and a friend of all. He was respected by all and we are sorry to have him leave us. EUGENE W. CROSBY Gene Gene is a rare combination of ubrawn and brain. Coming here three years ago he started out on the Peep Football team and in the same year won his major monogram in box- ing. Last year he starred on the varsity foot- ball team as he did this past year, as well as annexing another letter by remaining unde- feated 'in the fisticutfs. As an officer in the ClV Company he has done much to bring fame to that excellent organization. Gene plans, after another year of study, to enter North Carolina and later take up medicine.
