D, JV Football Rex, one of our tower men, is one of the best commissioned officers at A.M.A. Coming from the enchanted city of Washington, as a new cadet, he quickly built himself into Lieutenant. Known for his humoristic side by every man in the company, his wit alone will carry him through life. JOHN T. LINDSAY Boyce, Va. (43) Pvt. Co. D; (44) Sgt. Co. A, White Page ae, Fencing Team; (45) Co. E, Rifle Team, Tumbling Team Tuck, along with Earl, was, for а time, а mem- ber of our “Busted Aristocrats,” but now rates a Lieutenant. As а member of our vaunted Rifle Team, Tuck has earned for himself a high aver- age. Here's to luck in your college life, Tuck. AUGUSTA MILITARY ACADEMY EDWARD A. DEJARNETTE P. O. B, Track (1) (2) (3), Wrestling (2), JV Football (3) Deejay, most any afternoon, will be found out for one of A.M.A.’s many sports. Hailing from Orange, Virginia, he has made quite a name for himself in three years, and we know that he will keep as good a name as he has received here in later life. FRED S. TAYLOR 4032 Nichols Ave., Washington, D. C. (44) Pvt. Co. C; (45) Corp. Со: A; Boxing Team (1) (2) Fred, one of the boys who hail from Washing- ton, will be remembered for his boxing ability. He was a member of the Third Stoop Protective Association and showed a great interest in the Decorating Committee. Fred is entering the Army Air Corps this summer, and we wish him the best of luck in the service.

B, JV Football, JV Basketball, Colors Bill, having graduated from Wilson High of Portsmouth, came to A.M.A. last year to take a post-graduate course. Incidentally please don't hurt his feelings and tell him Portsmouth isn’t the capital of the world. Bill’s been one of the most active members of the T.S.P.A. and is a major in this organization. He plans to enter the Navy this coming summer, and we know Bill will surely have a girl in every port. Wherever you go, Bill, our best wishes go with you. ERNEST WASCO R. R. 2, Cranbury, N. J. В; (45) Ordnance Sgt., Staff; Wrestling Team Whenever you hear jokes being cracked and wise cracks being passed around, you will always find Don with his true wit helping keep the moral as high as a kite. His smiles and good humor have been an inspiration to everyone here for the past two years. Don also can whip his weight in wrestling, his favorite sport. He will always be remembered here as a great fellow, and we know you will make a great impression wherever you go as you have here. PEDRO M. CORDERO 808 Whittier Pl., Washington, D. C. (44) Pvt. Co. He has really been a woman slayer in his two years, and his real one seems to be in Stuart Hall. DON L. CARLISLE 642 W. Frederick St., Staunton, Va. (44) Pvt. Co. B; (45) Corp. Co. B, Fencing Team Don, another of our quiet boys, is one of our off and on Honor Students. While not leading the class, he stays well in the better half. Don intends to follow in his father’s footsteps as an Army doctor in serving his country. Next year he will go to college on his way to fulfilling that ambition. Just keep up the good work, Don, and everything will come your way. ERNEST C. BURT 417 Lee St., Hampton, Va. (44) Pvt. Co. D, Tennis; (45) Busted Aristocrat Curtiss is one of Augusta’s representatives to the Air Corps where we know he will make as good a record there as he has here. When tennis intramurals were in their peak, you could always find Curtiss out there sweating and playing his best. When the going gets tough, you will always find that you can count on Curtiss to do more than his part. To you we wish lots of luck al- ways. RECALL---NINETEEN FORTY- FIVE MELVIN M. BROOKS 326 Center St., Pittsburgh, Penn. (44) Pvt. Band; (45) Sgt. Band Mel is one of the foremost music lovers in barracks. His knowledge has awarded him a Sgt. in the band, and he has been most efficient in his duties.
