HOLT Tim, as he is lcnown at Augusta, came to us two years ago. Popular with the boys and a grand fellow in general has made Tim out- standing here. To you, Tim, we wish all the best -of luck while you attend the University of North Carolina and then enter the Army Air Corps. GENE E. KLINE Scoop started his newspaper career before and while at Augusta. His untiring eHorts to give the cadets something new in the Bayonet and RIECALL will not go unheecled. To you, Scoop, our best wishes, and may your ambition to become an editor be fulhlled. ROBERT W. KNOX, JR. Bob has turned out to be one of the best new cadets at Augusta. His ambitions to study medi- cine at Cornell are held high by all who know him. Lots of luck, ole man, we know you will be one of the best. PETER LEAR Pete entered upon his career at A.M.A. last year, and has since become as much a part of Augusta as the sentry box. He will succeed in all his under- takings and will make a 'line friend for all. We wish you lots of luck in your future, Buddy. and we know you will get what you deserve. FRANK C. HAYDON Hllaydic-: is another new cadet this year, but has ably proved himself as a worthy cadet by his studious work. T-Te made many friends among the cadets here and has succeeded in all under- takings. We feel that I-Iaydie will be a huge ,success in later life, and that he will be liked by all. JOHN W. HEVENER black, a sergeant in A company, has gained many honors while attending Augusta for the past two years. l-lis untiring work on the Honor Committee and Fencing team has shown us that he is a square shooter. JOHN W. HOCKMAN Johnny, one of our hardest workers this year, came to Augusta three years ago. He has achieved great success in many things and his untiring work in the armory will not go unheed- ed. He leaves behind him an enviable record of unbounded friendliness with the corps in general. Take care of your- self, Mac, and be sure when you're out there with your new buddies to remember your old buddies at A.M.A. JAMES M. MCCANLESS Jimmie we send 'away with a sad goodby, but with the knowledge that he will make one of our best Army pilots. We only hope that you will be a little harder on the enemy than your per- sonality was on us. Best of luck, Jim, and happy landings to a swell fellow. J. HOWARD MCGLOON Mac arrived at Augusta three years ago to take his place as one of the great fencers of Augusta's history. This year he became captain of the team, taking all honor and losing none. Good luck, Mac, may success follow 'in your footsteps wherever you may go from Augusta. As for the corps, all we can say is that we are the loser upon your graduation. WILLIAM H. MCOWEN Bill came to us five years ago and in that time has proven himself a worthy friend of all cadets. He has been on the swimming' team for Hve years and this year became its captain. To Mac, a swell guy and a great swimmer, we say good luck in everything you do.
