MILITARY TACTICAL OFFICERS In April, Lieutenant Ralph E. Carlson was detailed here by the War De- partment as P. M. S. T. He suceeded Lieutenant Colonel Ray W. Harris, who was forced to leave us due to ill health. In Lieutenant Carlson, who was ably assisted by Lieutenant Colonel Robinson, Colonel Louisell, Major Cherring- ton and Sergeant Collison, we found a man who was a soldier, a gentleman and a hard worker. His interest in our advancement in military was unsurpassed, and over-night, he became a part of us.
