142 GUERRANT, MORRIS “Punchy” has seen many handfuls of leather in his five years at Augusta. Captain of the Box- ing Team and good looks are sure to recommend him well at the University of Maryland. May the Champ always wear his crown. — HAMILTON, ELBERT “Unk,” most military of our cadet corps, is, out of ranks, easy to get along with and happy- og 1 go-lucky. President of the Student Body, big brother to everyone, Unk leaves us a fine example of American Youth. His qualities of leadership will stand out in the hearts of all as a Lieutenant in our United States Army. HANKEY, STACY “Stacy” lived up to his name by grinning bash- fully through his three years at Augusta, Silence is golden, however, and we know he will achieve great acclaim as a youth entering life.

SENIORS EVANS, WILLIAM “Will” became one of the most popular cadets in his three years at Augusta. He is by far the best-natured boy we’ve ever met. His patriotic enrollment in the United States Air Force will always be remembered at A.M.A. Happy land- ings, Will—we recognize a future officer when we see one, FOX, PETE Not much can be said about such a quiet boy as Pete, but those that know him best have found his sterling loyalty undiminished. As a “B” Com- pany corporal he did a fine job and we are sorry to see him depart from old Augusta. FURBER, GEORGE P. George, with his Boston accent and Yankee habits, will long be remembered as an honor stu- dent. We wish him great success at Harvard next fall. Good material will never go to waste. -

aq 4 SENIORS HARRYMAN, C. B. “Bunky,” a quite young member of the gradu- ating class, is a dead shot with a rifle and will force his way into anyone’s heart. May his ex- perience on the rifle team aid him in later life. So long, Harry. HEILMAN, OTHMER A glowing tribute to “Ott” paid by the cadets and Staff of the RecaL for his untiring nimble fingers. His service as a typist has been beneficial to everyone from Major Roller to the cadets themselves. His pert remarks reflect a winning personality. To a fine student, we sorrowfully bid good-bye. HINES, ANGUS “Angus,” our photographer friend, attained his goal by becoming Best New Cadet of 1941-'42. This insurance of a successful future is only part of a brilliant life ahead. With the last click of the shutter, we say good-bye to Angus Hines.
