My Sweetheart Tam leaving you my Sweetheart, For a life I know not of, But in parting, I bequeath you, All I have, Sweetheart my love. It is yours by right, of conquest, Yours to keep, preserve and treasure, Take it, dearest, as I leave it, A lasting love, beyond all measure. Can I e’er forget you, loved one.
