THE BACKBONE OF COMMUNICATIONS It is difficult for people to understand the problems associated with running one of the state's last weekly college newspapers. It all relates to publicity and coverage — the before and after. What is significant? What might be interesting? Who will make the most noise if unable to cover an event? We were quick to learn that significant news does not flow from this college community on a regular basis. We accepted the challenge and have taken pride in being the backbone of communications at Augsburg. Larry Couture Editor-in-Chief ECHO STAFF: Larry Couture. Mike Lundeen. Rob Tomalka. Roald Saternen.
