Mandsager Religion and Philosoph Through the study of religion and philosophy, the individual is appraised of those realities which are central to the problem of human existence. The stu- dent is encouraged to seek to understand himself and his relation to the world within the framework of the Christian Faith. The goal is the development of an informed and integrated Christian person who is equipped to participate responsibly in the life of the Church and of society. The courses in Religion are designed to give the student a working knowledge of the Bible, to acquaint him with the history, doctrines, and ethics of the Church, and to prepare him for effective service in Campus Pastor Manzlsager poses at the lecturn in chapel. the congregation. The fundamental aim in instruc- tion is to lead as many as possible to personal faith in Christ, and to nurture the Christian life.
