As we entered our homeroom we found that Miss Williams and Mrs. Stephens were our homeroom teachers. Those who answered the roll call were: Margie Ames, Jeanne Bennett, Leroy Bennett, Frances Bidlack, Carolyn Breckler, Catherine Burkhart, Helen Butler, Margaret Coil, Karen Dimock, Donna Donley, Myra Durham, Billie Edds, Barbara Frederick, Gary Frederick, Edward Fry, Linda Fuller, Shirley Golliver, Edna Mae Good, Carolyn Grove, Goldie Guyton, Carol Harmon, Donna Hunt, Ann Keck, Gertrude Klein, Keith Ketner, David Kohart, Jayne Kohart, Dian Long, Dana McCague, Dian McCague, Mickey Mowery, Martin Myers, Twilia Oakley, Deloris Porter, Mary Reineck, Barbara Retcher, Glenda Schilt, Roberta Schlegel, Carl Sherry, Janis Shisler, Ruth Ann Shisler, Oberdella Skeens, Gary Thomas, Robert Thomas, Shirley Thrasher, Ivadelle Vaughn, Daniel Waldschmidt. In October we were initiated by the sophomores making us full-fledged members of Oakwood High School. During the year we gained a new student, Joyce Aden. In September of 1958, we retttmed as sophomores and gained four new members: Eugene Grimes, Karen Hahn, Julia Johnson, and Roger Pier. Mr. Thoburn and Mr. Clemens were our class advisor; . Our officers were: President, Carol Harmon; Vice President, Mary Reineck; Secretary, Karon Hahn; Treasurer, Karen Dimock. We initiated the freshmen and worked hard at various activities. As we leave our Alma Mater, we will think of some of the most pleasant times of our lives. 20 CLASS WILL ARTICLE I ITEM I: We, the graduating class of 1961, being of shallow minds and haggared bodies, do leave to the not-so able-bodied students who are, unfortunately, following in our footsteps, those terrible rosy pink walls that stared and glared at us during the past year, the echo of all those arguments and disagreements that took place in home room, and to next year ' s seniors, we leave the pleasure of spying on the juniors to see if they can find out what the theme of the Prom is.
