PROPHECY This is HELEN MATSON and ALICE HORNER, your roving announcers from radar and T.V. station OHS, broadcasting from the planet earth. These are the facts and nothing will be with¬ held to protect the guilty, as we take you into the year of 1970. As we stroll down the ruby-paved avenue of New York, we see something familiar about the large building at our right. The huge sign reads, You stab ' em, we slab ' em. As we get a closer view, we see it is a mortuary owned by STANLEY ADAMS, PHIL BROWN, and EU¬ GENE YENSER. We hear it is a very profitable business. As we turn down Madison Avenue, we see a dress shop which to our surprise is owned by LUCILLE HEAD and VIOLET FINNEGAN. They design SHARON ANDREW ' S clothes for her nightly appearances in Cry Baby Blues starring MILLIE SHISLER. We hear it is a great hit, but why not, with a co-star like LARRY Glamour-boy GERKEN. Naturally, their success in pictures is due to the constant effort of CHARLES BAKER, their dramatic teacher. Turning down Saphire Street we see the Earth Pansey baseball team at practice. Their pitcher, MARY speed-ball WARNER has set a record with no wins for this season. While we are still on the subject of sports, we have four very famous basketball players to coach our Hot Shot School basketball team in New York. They are JUNIOR Stringbean FOHN F R, GREGORY Romeo HORNISH, DON Pretty Boy BRADFORD, and JERRY Cassanova BORCK. As we continue our tour, we come to Loose Brain College with all its brilliant students. In passing through the science lab, we see JACK OLIVER and DEAN COLWELL working on a new experiment on How to increase the size of pgymies. They have not had very good suc¬ cess so far. In leaving the college, we stop at the secretary ' s office and to our surprise, we see none other than MARILYN GROVE behind the desk. As we leave the main building we approach the campus snack bar and hear three great Vahs for SHARON SCHWADERER, the campus queen and also for RICHARD HUFF, the cam¬ pus king. Stepping inside we bump into PHYLLIS and WILMA PORTER, who are studying modeling, under the guidance of SANDRA HUBBARD. Sitting at a near table, feeding their faces are TOM LLOYD, DARWIN LEE, and FRANKLIN REINECK. They tell us they are taking a course in Agriculture and are learning how to obtain chocolate milk from a brown cow. As yet, they ' ve been unsuccessful . As we are leaving the campus, we see a small building secluded from the public by a group of evergreen trees. Being suspicious about the building, we cautiously approach it. Who should greet us but Dr. MYRON MOHR, who is a psychiatrist at the college. He tells us his latest patient is NICKY Goof-Off SPENCER who is now a famous comedian on T.V. His partner is JERRY STOLLER. Leaving the campus grounds, we are walking toward town when we see two figures approaching. We recognize our old classmates SHARON McVAY and WANDA CARNAHAN. They are both pushing baby carriages with the cutest little babies. As you have guessed, they are both happily married. Walking further down the street, our attention is drawn by a loud shout of a newspaper boy whom we recognize as LAWRENCE DENSMORE. We bought a paper and looking at it we see headlines proclaiming that SANDRA BIDLACK has just won the title of Miss America. We also see by the paper that GLEN DEATRICK has been chosen Father of the Year. He now has 13 lovely children. Glancing on the sports page, WAYNE BUTLER ' S name is drawn to our attention. He saved a boy ' s life during a basketball game, by being an expert on artificial respiration. We have enjoyed the day very much, as we once again got together with our old classmates. And now with our journey ended, we will retire to our apartments. 22
