Mrs. Hansen concluded by saying, ”1 think it’s too bad that so many stu- dents never realize that teachers are human beings, too. Ninety-nine per- cent of us are legitimately trying to help them; we’re not out to get them. I didn't decide to be a teacher until my senior year in college, and 1 some- times wonder if 1 made the right choice. 1 sincerely hope that somehow in my career 1 will have made an im- pact on at least one student-then it will have been worthwhile.” 1.
