Assistant Secretary David Nelson . . Assistant Treasurer Mark Klever . . Assistant Reporter The Audubon High School F.F.A. has had a very busy and successful year. They held meetings with 4-H Clubs and Farm Bureau Young People. They helped the Soil Conservation Service in a Field Day and with the Y-Teens sponsored a Korean Orphan. They also helped the Iowa Highway Commission build a roadside park and conducted several test pilot demon- strations. They distributed promotional infor- mation to increase the sales of farm products and sent programs describing their work and pldns to other F.F.A. Chapters. Also, they served coffee to the Adult Farmers School and to Operation T-Bone. As one of their final projects they co-operated with the newly formed Audubon Dairy Association in testing milk.

One of the more interesting programs consisted of Rex Emerson, the Game Warden from Atlantic, who gave a demonstration on guns. Some travel films were shown. The officers attended a conference at Villisca in the Fa 11. Eldon Olsen was a State Representative and John Martinsen was a State Senator when the Hi-Y took over the State Government. 19
