Kruse, Treasurer-NOT PICTURED. The Board of Education is an advisory group of business men of whom most of the students are unaware. The board consists of four standing committees. These include the building and grounds, pur- chasing, board policies, and transportation committees. These men exercise a considerable influence over the functioning of the school system. The members of the board are all prominent business and professional men, and contribute much of their time to unselfish service to the school. The Board's projects for this year include: installation of new side- walks, increased student parking area, improved playground equipment, remodeling the corridors and classrooms, and purchas- ing additional buses. 11
