mini Ono of the oldest men on the campus and still one of the most energetic and influential profos-sors is Dean Petrie. Coming hore in 1887 he has beon a faithful leader in every phase of college life. Dean Sugg has been in our beloved school since pre-war days and is known on Vet Hill as one of the staunch friends of tho students. Both are particularly important for the help thoy rondor to the college and studonts. Buildors of our bodios and our minds are the four picturod hero. Realizing that no school, college or nation can proporly function if the individuals in it are weak in body or in mind, those administrators have given us a program that will not only help us but will boncfit the nation in its time of greatest need. Putting Auburn on the sport pages of the large city daily newspapers has boon one of the many foats of Coach Meagher and at the same time the military program hat undergone some drastic changes that have given us all a keener insight on war and its problems. Our health is taken care of by Dr. Dennis in one of the best college infirmaries on any campus in the South; Miss Martin has keot our new library stocked with now literature and the latest books. Both have soon to it that tho curricula offorod to their studonts is wide and variod and that it contains enough to make them successful men and women in their particular field. Most of them, in-torostod primarily in tho new things on tho campus, havo had a good oppor-tunity to put the beginners on the right track. Dr. Walston, as director of the women students, has helped each girl and has offered them the benefits of her wide training and experience. Mr. Brewster is the man who has finally done something about the looks of the campus and Mr. Brown is our publicity agent who has made Auburn practically a household word. And the bulk of the monoy in the collcqo, which wo stand in line so long to give, is handled by Miss Glonn. Each one indispensable to us and the future of our school.
