CL who has probably done more for Auburn than any one man and one who is loved and respected by every student on this campus is our soft-spoken and friendly President, Dr. Luther Noble Duncan. A graduate of our favorite school himself, ho knows our problems, our trials, our temptations, and our solutions better than wo do ourselves. Ho is ever ready and willing to help all students at any time on any problems that are bothering them. He is always the first to speak when you meet on the campus. That smile is ever presont on his lips and his kind words always smooth over any defeat that wo might have mot. He has been in his present capacity for the past six years: during this time he has built Auburn up and put it among the top ranking colleges of the nation. During this short span of time, Auburn has seen some of the greatest changes that will ever come in its career. Her enrollment is the largest in her history, and her students are tho friendliest and most congenial in these United States. He does not limit his deeds of good work to this vicinity but is noted for tho diplomacy and tact with which he handles both his local and state tasks. His influence reaches and touches deeply the hearts of every Auburn graduate and undergraduate. His loyalty and sincerity are things which will hold our profoundest esteem for many years to come. Ho is our friend. PRESIDENT DUNCAN

EXECUTIVES OF THE Always one who is deeply interested in our problems and their solutions, and one who is greatly admired for his courage and initiative, is our governor. Frank Murray Dixon. A veteran of the first World War, he has shown each of us that courage and perseverance are two things that every one of us needs and should have for success. He has distinguished himself and is known for his ability as a statesman and a diplomat. He is one of the best leaders in the state and has done the most in guiding our state during its troubled times. We have felt his influence as have all of our sister schools in the state and are deeply grateful to him for all that he has done in our behalf. His has been a term of good government and he has been continually in favor of the things he thinks will be for our good. Most of us do not know him personally, but each of us has felt his influence in many ways. Our governor chat with a couple ot the ttudent body.
