 “United We Stand; Dividod Wo Fall. This old proverb was proved again this year on our campus. Wo wore hit hard by Undo Sam and tho defense industries, but ever quick to rally and face what comes, the Auburn Tigers were in there fighting until the last bell rang. On the gridiron, the court, the cinders, the diamond; some of our most valuable men were whisked away over night. But by sticking together and work-ing, playing, and fighting for our Alma Mater, we wore always able to let them know we wore thore— together.

Wo can't think of anything to tell you about the friendliness on this Auburn campus. Wo bclicvo that ovoryone who has ever heard of Auburn knows that it is the friendliest collego in tho United States. Hay ridos. picnics, dances, initiations, parties, and thousands of other things. Who said that college was all work and no play?
