HORACE SHEPARD Editor WIT!-I Tl-IE The Plainsman finished one of its most successful years at the close of the 1933-1934 session under the leadership of Horace Shepard, editor, and Herbert Harris, business manager. Instrumental in the success of the publication was the untiring work on the part of all staff members, who cooperated with the editor and business manager to the fullest extent. Every effort was expended to make the student semi- weekly newspaper a journal of campus affairs through its news stories, and a source of helpful suggestion through its editorial columns. With a circulation of two thousand, the Piainsman reaches all the leading newspapers in the state, and has a large number of out-of-town subscribers located in every part of the country.
