The highlights of the year included farming 33 acres of land, a field trip to the Farm Progress Show at Galesburg, a leadership training school, Farm Bureau Get Acquainted Day, National Officers Tour, FFA Banquet, collecting for the Heart Fund, FFA and FHA Dance, basketball games with other FFA chapters and attending the State FFA Convention. 28

A. for the 1972-73 school year included a food tent at the annual VFW Labor Day Picnic, entering a float in the Homecoming parade, holding a Freshman Welcome at Knights Recreation Center, attending a Pawnee invitational, having a Daddy-Date Night, and co-sponsoring St. Patrick’s Day Dance with the F. F.A. We also participated in a style show at the section rally. Kandy Stamer, Janet Laffey, and Pam Fox were delegates at the state con- vention. Also we gave a Christmas party for Me Farland Zone Center and Wee Care Day Care Center. 30
