“ty’tea e coat yCtde a uuv I982’s musical “Grease,” was performed by a cast of 32 members on November 9 and 11. The play was the Broadway success about high school in 1959. Songs included were, “Summer Nights,” “Greased Lightning, ” “Freddy My Love, ” “Sandra Dee,” and “We Go Together.” “Grease” was one of the most successful productions that Auburn High School has produced. Members of the cast included: Jeff Allgood, Jody Allgood, Lisa Andrew, Steve Bath, Jerry Boden, Brenda Bollinger, Jen Deselms, Debbie Dietrich, Jodie Graves, Susan Hall, Deann Huber, Shauna Johnson, Jeff Jones, Doug Kampe, Pete Kleinjan, Lisa Krueger, Amy Lewellen, Julie Liewer, Lynne McKnight, Diana Palmerton, Steve Patras, Chris Pippert, Lisa Pratte, Cara Ramsay, Mike Root, Curt Witzenburg. Art club really gained momentum in its third year. Membership increased to thirty-five, and members attended more of the functions set up by the art teacher, Mr. Thacker. Lincoln, Omaha and Kansas City were some of the cities visited by the club. They toured several art galleries and museums and had some artists talk to them about techniques used for different types of art. 3 CLOCKWISE FROM BELOW: I.
