Pep club started the year on the right paw with the initiation of our Bulldog mascot The many activities included selling calenders, outdoor pep rallies, and homecoming. Climaxing the year was a potluck picnic at Sycamore Springs. High point members were senior Kelley Schutte; junior Karla Armstrong, sophomore Dee Taylor; frosh. Kim Schlange. 'H t tvuxu4 activities Parties, picnics, a hayrack ride, and an over-night at the high school highlighted the activities of the FHA. Members also hiked to raise money for the national chapter and sold cook books to raise money for the American Cancer Society. In the fall the girls held a spaghetti supper for the football players and cheerleaders. Becky Hamilton won a gold medal and Jodee Filbrandt won a silver at the Search events in Nebraska City. Members also attended the district convention in Louisville and the state in Lincoln.
