Math Science members enjoy busy year The members of Math and Science Club this year kept busy with monthly meetings, educational trips, and money-making projects for the spring trip to Colorado. The educational trips were to Lincoln and Omaha and included tours of Wesleyan University, the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and St. Elizabeth's Hospital. The Fellowship of Christian Athletes held weekly meetings throughout the school year. Sponsors Mr. Wetenkamp, Mr. Thacker, and Mr. Artist took turns holding the meetings in their homes on Sunday nights, with special fun and game nights held in the gym from time to time. Members took part in singing songs, Bible studies, and eating lots of popcorn at the meetings. F.C.A. went cross-country skiing at Indian Cave and traveled to Omaha in the fall to see a Mike Warnke concert at the Orpheum Theatre FCA provides variety of activities CLOCKWISE FROM LEFT: 1. Future Homemakers of America had many money raising projects. These included a walk-a-thon. selling Valentine carnations. and working at concession stands. Proceeds from the walk-a-thon went to help finance a new addition to the National Headquarters in Washington D.C. They a'so took a trip in the spring. The club initiated 14 new members.
