Administration sets new rules Administrators, otherwise known as the scorekeepers of the 1980 game, announced some new rules during preliminaries. Among the added rules were those of the revised attendance policy. Backed by principal Dr. Robert Lohrberg, scorekeepers judged each move in the game and periodically tallied the scores. Scores were then recorded on report cards and given to the players. When the game ended, scorekeepers proclaimed the majority as winners and began preparations for next year’s competition.
