Star Wars figures adorn AHS' halls Despite falling streamers, torn decorations and a rainy day, homecoming festivities continued throughout the week of October 7. The homecoming parade was rained out, so the pep rally was held in the gymnasium instead of downtown. At the rally, the freshmen were announced as winners of the inches of spirit contest. Mr. Neil Thomas, former voice of the bulldogs, was speaker at the rally. Halls were decorated by the classes and were judged by faculty on art work and application of the homecoming theme STAR WARS. Tying for first place were the juniors and seniors, with the freshmen coming in second. Auburn's bulldogs claimed a 32-28 victory over the Plattsmouth blue devils. Half time festivities included the crowning of the queen, Barb Wilson. Jeff Gerdes was crowned king at the homecoming dance. 22 Homecoming
