Expanded role for head administrator Due to the absence this year of a vice-principal, Principal Marvin Gerdes has had to change his image and priorities. He has become more involved with student affairs, leadership, and instruction of students. Principal Gerdes now spends more time at the school attending sports functions, and getting involved with student life. 1. Principal Marvin Gerdes exercises his expanded role by setting up the Twin Rivers Conference basketball tournament. 2. School board members from left are: Mr. Dean Niemann, Mr. Dick Alden, Mr. Guy Grafton, President Dick Hahn, Superintendent Albert Austin, Mr. Glen Witzenburg, Mr. Ross Adams, and secretary Mrs. Jean Stanley. 3. Mrs. Donna Kipling and Mrs. Janel Clark stay busy as the office secretaries. 4. School nurse Mrs. Alice Buck relaxes in the teacher's lounge. 5. Mrs. Clark pages a teacher over the intercom. 6.
